Hi, I'm Jeff.
I am a photographer. When I have a camera in my hands, most often I’m either grinning ridiculously, or have a slightly goofy look of concentration on my face. All one has to do is say “golden hour” and you will have my rapt attention.
My favorite subjects are people, animals, nature and abandoned places. Combine all three of those, and I’m in heaven. I work with a variety of clients, ranging from corporate headshots to full portrait sessions, to model and product photography. The creative process is very important to me, as is the collaborative aspect of even the most simple projects. I delight in unique and different concepts, and in making every shoot fun for everyone involved.
Natural light is incredible and is my preferred medium. Creative use of studio and strobe lighting is an art form, in and of itself, and utilizing that skill to create great photos is one that I enjoy, almost as much as using natural light. Often, combining the two can deliver exceptional results.
Professionalism is an integral part of my work. I believe in carefully setting expectations and fostering a safe and considerate environment. Ensuring my clients are having fun is essential, as is maintaining a thoroughly professional working relationship. Taking time to determine what is going to make each individual feel most comfortable while in front of the camera is always worth doing.
One of my goals is for clients to see the best aspects of themselves captured in an image. Often, that takes time, perception and collaboration. After all, it can feel vulnerable to be the center of attention! Let’s work together and create something amazing.
